Angie Watts' East African Nilotica Shea Oil is an all-natural, cold pressed shea butter in the form of an oil, sourced from Uganda & Sudan. This shea butter variant is known for its creamy, buttery, and extra lightweight consistency (thanks to increased oleic acid levels).
The Angie Watts East African Nilotica Shea Butter is so creamy and light that it doesn't require whipping to achieve a whipped buttery consistency. In the winter months, the butter is stored in our black aluminum tins. In the summer months when it has an extremely high melting point, it is sold in a black, glass bottle.
SPECS: Sold in a 4 oz, glass bottle with a pump.Angie Watts East African Nilotica Shea Oil Benefits
- Easily absorbs into the skin, helps balance moisture and supports healthy skin elasticity.
- Hydrating and non-greasy.
- Anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe skin outbreaks such as eczema patches and rashes.
- Light, pleasant aroma (barely has a smell)
Its lightness makes it easy to absorb into the skin pores and moisturize from inside out, preventing skin breakage and lesions. Many shea butter creams leave a greasy finish that feels heavy on the skin. Nilotica has all the benefits of shea butter without the heavy, greasy feel. Its essential fatty acid content is 25% higher than that of West African shea butter.
**No essential oil has been added for scent.
